NBC 29 WVIR-TV – What Makes AEQ Arena
Madrid, Spain, January 07, 2013 – The NBC television station WVIR-TV 29 – one year full audio production with digital mixing system AEQ ARENA.
Charlottesville, VA,When the station associated with NBC in Charlottesville, VA WVIR-TV NBC 29, went shopping to replace their analog mixer audio production continuity, was not considered as an option AEQ ARENA.
But having been in the AEQ stand in the 2008 edition of “Virginia Equipment Expo Sow” and have had the opportunity to visit the Radio and Television Center EiTB in Bilbao, Spain, were convinced that what they were was looking AEQ ARENA system.
Its analog system had given excellent service for many years, so it was not an easy decision to switch to digital, with all that that movement meant in terms of restructuring and modernization of peripherals.
Over time it became clear the necessary configuration and installed at the station initial routing system with a mixer 30 x 30 inputs and outputs, 25 motorized faders and up to 9 pages of snapshots. Initially, the console was the previous analog system configuration, but gradually and in stages, the new ARENA digital console has been migrated to a completely digital solution that ended disconnecting the analog system.
