Eventa have taken the bold step of attempting to recreate the much-loved Fairytale of New York theme in a quiet Manchester suburb this festive season. Never ones to shy away from pushing the boat out in the name of fun, the UK’s fastest growing Christmas party company will be unleashing ‘The Fairytale Of New York’ at a series of Christmas parties in Manchester to be held in the town of Hyde.
Set to a backdrop of twinkling Manhattan lights and the Brooklyn Bridge on the horizon, a live band will play plenty of Stateside-inspired classics, no doubt including plenty of Sinatra numbers and cool jazz. A wonderful Christmas party feast is served in this magical setting along with crackers, streamers and poppers to launch towards the Chrysler Building. Eventa Managing Director Rob Hill, a seasoned party veteran himself, noted how it has been a recurring popular theme:
“Yes, The Fairytale Of New York is quite possibly our most enquired about Christmas party. The atmosphere created by starlit cloth and the backdrop of the city skyline is such a magical one. Add to that great food and swinging live music and what’s not to like?!”
Having attended a good number of hugely varying Christmas party nights ourselves we can certainly back up Hill’s assessment. The evening is capped off wonderfully by the resident DJ who’ll be playing hand-picked Christmas party classics to keep guests dancing well into the night.
The theme of music has clearly been one of the minds of those responsible for Christmas party ideas in Manchester. Elsewhere across the city we find parties with titles such as ‘The Greatest Party On Earth: Party Like A Rockstar’ featuring live bands and most importantly, karaoke! These Christmas party nights vie for acclaim alongside Masquerade Balls, Venetian Carnivales and Black and White-themed parties amongst many, many others. Christmas in Manchester is kicking off in 2011 and you’re advised to join us for the ride!
